Our favorite! Great food-cherry pepper calamari, seared tuna, and everything is just the best! Love the atmosphere! Alysia the bartender is the BEST! Amazing drinks!

Went to the Sea basin for their lunch happy hour. Food was a very good. service was Excellent however I ordered an IPA when the check came. It was $10 at happy hour. I asked the waitress how much is IPA at regular time and she said $15. I think this is ridiculous. Why don't restaurants advertise the price of the beer? They do it with appetizers and everything else and wine.

Honestly not worth it at all. The food was alright, it was the same quality as a dennys or a similar lower quality diner. We got bottomless mimosas and they cut us off after 6 mimosas. When we came into the place we wondered why the restaurant was empty but after leaving we fully understood why. The mimosas had barely any champagne in them it felt like a scam

Randomly stumbled upon this place as we were looking for a seafood place to eat at during our trip to LI. Everything we ordered was not only fresh, but extremely flavorful. The portions of the happy hour appetizers were huge. The mussels in the garlic butter sauce and shrimp scampi are two of my most memorable dishes and would go back for just that. Though the other food looked and tasted just as delicious. Our waitress was extra friendly - just wished she warned us at how big the portions were. The only reason I took one star away was because fried calamari we ordered were slightly chewy for my liking but my friend enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to trying the lobster next time . This was a great find.

We went during spring restaurant week and the menu didn't have a very wide range but the food was all delicious! Can't wait to come back for the normal menu.

Nicely updated inside. Old school classic menu that's significantly better than you think it will be, especially delicate touch on seafood. Please don't confuse Sea Basin with fine dining, it's not supposed to be. It's a local treasure that has survived everything imaginable where you will see local folks celebrating and drinking and enjoying themselves with comfortable classics, a decent wine list and a sharp cocktail menu.

Great food good service and nice ambiance will definitely come back although Its a little bit pricey nice spot if you're in the mood for seafood and talian cuisine

Came here for my sister's birthday with the family. We had come in for a party of 6, no reservations. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon so it was no problem seating us. We were given menus and bread as soon as we sat down. Right away, we ordered drinks: - pinot grigio - sauvignon blanc - 2 peach watermelon sangrias - Save the Robot beer For appetizers we had: - fried calamari for two - steamed mussels with garlic, olive oil, and white wine sauce For entrees we ordered: - linguini with clam sauce - white sauce with all the natural juices - linguini with shrimp and clam sauce - white clam sauce with all their natural juices - sea basin platter - broiled lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, and flounder served with rice - 2 chef's special - stuffed shrimp, stuffed flounder, bard clams and scallops served with rice - crusted halibut with scallops and angel hair pasta Everything was delicious. Great portions for the price. Great serving staff who were all quick and knowledgeable of the menu. This was the first time being here for all of us and we all loved it! I look forward to trying other things on their menu.
